Our practice have years of experience with infusion therapies at the University of Cincinnati. With that background, we offer a safe place for infusion therapy of almost all available biologics at our practice. Fortunately, We have an in-house state-of-the-art infusion center where our patients don’t have to go anywhere else. Unlike some general infusion centers and hospital infusion centers, our facility focuses on Rheumatology, Osteoporosis, and other specialized biologics treatments.

All infusions are done with direct supervision to ensure the safety and monitoring of our patients. Because of our unique ability and expertise, we also offer infusion services to other physicians from other subspecialties if needed to assist in managing their patients.

We offer joint injections as well as trigger point or bursal injections as appropriate by our experienced physician.

Needle-based injections are usually performed to ease joint and/or tendon pain. Joint and soft tissue injections are often performed with medications such as corticosteroids. A steroid medication (sometimes called “cortisone”) is injected into or around a joint/muscle/tendon. The steroid treats the inflammation leading to decreased swelling and pain. Sometimes joint fluid is removed before the steroid is injected into the joint (aspiration). Drainage of a large amount of fluid from a joint can relieve pain and improve mobility.

We offer the same expertise and comprehensive evaluation to out-of-network patients as well as patients seeking a one-time 2nd opinion due to our vast experience.
